Mike Schmitt of Timberlake

 WINS COVETED TOMMY DORWIN AWARD AT 2004 Mid West  REGIONALS

 This award is awarded annually at the Mid West Regionals and is presented to someone who through unselfish hard work and dedication, volunteers above the call of duty to the successful completion of the tournament.

Recipient must show outstanding sportsmanship, works with all tournament personnel, helps and encourages others and accepts extra burdens and challenges.

Mike demonstrated all of the above in helping Timberlake Ski Club co-host the 2004 Midwest Regional Championships at Duqoin, IL.

He is the second in his family to receive this award as his wife Rhonda Schmitt won it in 2000 at MW Regionals.
