Welcome all WSDA Athletes, Officials & Supporters!

We also would like to welcome our international competitors to the second ever Pan Am Confederation Disabled Water Ski Championships.

We are very excited about your upcoming waterskiing championships at Hawthorn Lake August 25-28, 2010. As you make plans to head to central Indiana for your event we want to provide you with insight and information to make your trip as enjoyable as possible.

Plainfield is just minutes west of Indianapolis with new entertainment, shopping, and dining options for all to enjoy. Our close proximity along I-70, I-74 & U.S. 40 allows for easy access for out of town guests and spectators to and from Hawthorn Lake. In less than 30 minutes guests can be back to their hotel rooms after an exhilarating day at the lake!

Within Plainfield we have 11 limited service lodging facilities ranging in amenities and price that can accommodate your guests.

Included for your review is additional information on the host hotel and ancillary hotels available for your event as well as information on dining and unique attractions worth checking out! Please take a moment to check out our website at www.TourHendricksCounty.com for even more information.

When you are not enjoying the action at the lake, there are several unique attractions to visit including Metropolis, Chateau Thomas Winery and the Mayberry Café.

We hope that this information helps you to get to know Hendricks County. Upon registration for your event you will be receiving print information featuring Hendricks County. However, please contact me if you would like an advance copy of our Visitors Guide and Event Guide sent to you.

Sincerely,

Emily A. Cates

Hendrick's County Sales Manager
